1 tour package from Coimbatore, 3 days, from ₹12,500 per person.
Sakleshpur is a coffee and spice town in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, about 350 km and 7 hours from Coimbatore. Our 3 day package starts with pickup in Coimbatore, and one price covers the AC vehicle, driver and hotel.
Sakleshpur is about 350 km from Coimbatore by road, around 7 hours of driving. The town (also spelt Sakleshpura) is in Hassan district, Karnataka, about 39 km from Hassan city, and sits on the edge of the Western Ghats at roughly 932 m. We plan it as a 3 day trip so the road does not eat the whole holiday.
Sakleshpur is a coffee and spice region with forest viewpoints and a hill fort, not a town with a single big attraction. The local economy runs on coffee, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and areca nut plantations, and most stays are on or near estates.
If you want treks, camping or Ettina Bhuja, tell us before we quote. We only include what we can confirm with the hotel and the forest office.
Our Sakleshpur 3 day package starts at ₹12,500 per person. The price covers the AC vehicle, driver, fuel, toll, parking and the hotel (3-star or similar, confirmed in your quote), with Karnataka entry tax included. Meals, entry tickets and personal expenses are extra.

Sakleshpur is wet in the monsoon. In 2022 the Hethur hobli in Sakleshpur taluk recorded about 4,305 mm of rain and in 2025 about 6,488 mm, the highest of any hobli in Karnataka. Roads and viewpoints can be affected in those months. For a first visit most people choose a dry month, and we advise on your dates when you ask for a quote.
Sakleshpur is in Hassan district, which also has the Hoysala temples at Belur and Halebidu. Our Belur Halebidu Shravanabelagola package covers those, and the Hassan tour packages page lists the trips. Other nearby options are Coorg, Chikmagalur and Mysore. See Karnataka tour packages for the full list.
The Karnataka Tourism page for Sakleshpur names more than the fort and viewpoint. It lists pilgrimage sites (Sri Sakleshwar Swamy Temple, Ayappa Swamy Temple, Betta Byraveshwara Temple and Shettihalli Rosary Church), waterfalls (Murkannu Gudda, Hadlu and Magajahalli) and trekking spots (Bisle View Point, Jenukal Gudda, Ombattu Gudda and Agni Gudda). It also says the town is about 220 km from Bangalore and a popular weekend getaway.
The same page describes Manjarabad Fort as star shaped, with tunnels, chambers, cannon mounts and musket holes. The Hassan district site lists Bisle Ghat in Hettur hobli, with a 40 hectare reserved forest. Treks and falls depend on the season and permits, so we only add them after checking.
By road from Sakleshpur, Hassan is about 40 km and Belur about 37 km, each under an hour. That is how the Hoysala temples fit into a Sakleshpur trip.
