Privacy policy

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message. The form sends them to us by email. They are not stored on this website.
• Quote forms: the trip details you type (vehicle, dates, start point, destination, number of people) go into a WhatsApp message on your phone. Nothing is saved on this website. We receive the details only if you send that message.
• Calls, WhatsApp and email: whatever you tell us about your trip.
• When you book: the names of the travellers, your phone number, your pickup address, your travel dates and any details a hotel or permit needs for your booking. We also keep a record of the payments you make to us.

What we use it for

• To answer your questions and send you a quote.
• To book your vehicle, driver, hotels and permits, and to reach you during your trip.
• To keep the accounts and tax records the law asks us to keep.
• To see which of our Google and Facebook or Instagram ads bring enquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited this website (see below).

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share only what each one needs for your trip:

• Your driver gets your name, phone number and pickup point.
• Hotels, houseboats and resorts we book for you get the guest names, the number of guests and the dates.
• Government offices get the details needed for a vehicle permit or entry pass.

We also share information when the law requires it.

Other services on this website

• The map on our contact page comes from Google Maps, and the fonts on this website load from Google Fonts. When they load, Google receives your IP address. Google Maps may also set its own cookies. See the Google privacy policy.
• Our WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. Messages you send us there follow the WhatsApp privacy policy.
• Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages visited) to keep the website running and secure.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Google and on Facebook and Instagram (Meta). To learn which ads work, this website uses:

• Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, which record the pages you visit and actions such as sending the contact form, tapping a WhatsApp button or tapping our phone number.
• The Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, which tell Meta about the same visits and actions.

These tools use cookies and similar technology, and they receive your IP address and details about your browser and device. When you send the contact form, Google and Meta may also receive your email address and phone number in a scrambled (hashed) form, so they can match the enquiry to an ad you saw. They do not receive your message.

Google and Meta may use this to show our ads to people who visited this website. You can manage this in your Google ad settings and your Meta ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser. See the Google partner sites policy and the Meta privacy policy.

Cookies

Besides the advertising and measurement cookies above, this website sets small technical cookies that it needs to work, and the Google map may set its own. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as we need them to reply to you and plan your trip. We keep booking and payment records for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent. Contact us using the details below. If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is not meant for children. A parent or guardian books the trip for children who travel with them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, the “Updated” date at the top of this page changes too.
