How far is Masinagudi from Coimbatore?

Masinagudi is about 175 km from Coimbatore by road, roughly 4 hours of driving. The village is in the Nilgiris district at about 950 m, on the Sigur plateau along the road between Ooty and Theppakadu, and about 30 km from Ooty. It lies in the buffer zone of the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, so the drive ends in forest.
