This Munnar Thekkady 4 days tour package is a private trip from Coimbatore with two nights in Munnar and one in Thekkady. You see Eravikulam National Park and Mattupetty in Munnar, walk a spice plantation and take the Periyar lake boat ride in Thekkady, and watch a Kalaripayattu show before driving home. The price is ₹10,999 to ₹17,999 per person, based on 2 travelling together. One quote covers your AC vehicle, driver, fuel, toll, parking and all three hotel nights.

It suits families and couples who want tea hills and wildlife in four days. We are a Coimbatore tour operator with an office in Ganapathy, and you travel in our own vehicle with our own driver.
We pick you up early and drive to Munnar by Pollachi, Udumalpet and Chinnar, about 160 km. The last stretch runs through tea estates, and you stop for photos before check-in.
Morning at Eravikulam, then out along the Mattupetty road to the dam and Echo Point. The road passes the Indo-Swiss dairy farm at Mattupetty, and we stop there only if it is open to visitors on the day.
You drive down to Thekkady after breakfast, a few hours on hill roads. In the afternoon you walk through a spice plantation near Kumily, then take the boat ride on Periyar lake if tickets are available.
You visit Elephant Junction and see a Kalaripayattu show at the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre, then drive back to Coimbatore. Show timings change, so your driver may change the order on the day to fit them.
Munnar is about 160 km from Coimbatore. Thekkady is south of Munnar, so Day 3 is a half-day drive and Day 4 brings you back to Coimbatore by a different road.
Eravikulam National Park. Kerala Tourism's Eravikulam page says Rajamalai is the only zone open to visitors and the only place in the park to see the Nilgiri tahr. Vehicles take visitors up the hill road inside the park.
Periyar lake. Thekkady's lake sits inside Periyar Tiger Reserve. Kerala Tourism's Thekkady page calls the boat ride the best way to see wildlife from a safe distance. Tickets are sold through the official Periyar Tiger Reserve booking site, and they sell out.
Spice plantations. Kumily grows cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and more, per the Kumily spice plantations page on Kerala Tourism.
October to May suits most families. Eravikulam closes from February to March for the Nilgiri tahr calving season, per Kerala Tourism. June to September is the monsoon, when the boat ride can still run but rain affects views.
The vehicle is part of the package price. We match it to your group, and you can ask for a different one.

No. The only safari Eravikulam National Park runs is the ride in a park vehicle from the entry gate up to the Rajamalai visitor area. You then walk a marked road where the Nilgiri tahr graze. Ticket prices and timings change by season, so we check them for your travel date.
Yes, if you ask when booking. It is a private adventure and amusement park outside Munnar town. We can fit it into Day 2 in place of Echo Point.
The park sets its own prices and they change by activity, so they are not in our package. You pay at the gate.
The boat ride is run by the forest department and seats run out in season. We try to book as soon as you confirm. If there are no seats, you get more time at the spice plantation or a nature walk in Kumily instead.
Yes. Swap stops, start later or skip something. Tell us when you ask for the quote. The 160 km drive on Day 1 and the drive home on Day 4 are fixed.
A 30% advance confirms your trip, and the balance date is in your written quote. Cancel 15 days or more before the trip and we refund the full advance. From 14 to 3 days before, we refund half the advance. Within 2 days of the trip, the advance is not refunded.
If you want a houseboat night too, choose the Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey 5-day trip. If you have only a weekend, the 2-day Munnar package is better. For more time in the tea hills, try our 3-day Munnar trip. If the wildlife is the main draw, a short Thekkady weekend is enough, and for cooler meadows there is Vagamon in 3 days.
