This Kerala temples tour package is a private 4-day, 3-night pilgrimage from Coimbatore through central Kerala. You visit Guruvayur and Mammiyoor, Chottanikkara and Ernakulam, then Vaikom and Ettumanoor, with an optional Kalpathy stop in Palakkad on the way home. One price covers the AC vehicle, driver, fuel, toll, parking and hotels. It is priced from ₹13,800 per person.

We are a Coimbatore tour operator based in Ganapathy, with our own vehicles and drivers.
We pick you up in the morning and drive via Palakkad and Thrissur. After check-in, you have darshan at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple and the Mammiyoor temple close by. Darshan timings and queue times change by day and festival, so we plan around them.
Drive south to Kochi. Chottanikkara Devi Temple is the main stop of the day, followed by temples in Ernakulam town in the evening. You stay the night in Kochi.
In the morning, go to Vaikom Mahadeva on the edge of Vembanad Lake. After lunch, visit Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple and stay the night in Kottayam.
The road home passes through Palakkad. If you want, we stop at the old agraharam streets of Kalpathy before the last stretch to Coimbatore. Your driver may change the order on the day to suit traffic.
Guruvayur is about 140 km from Coimbatore, roughly 3 to 3.5 hours. Kottayam to Coimbatore on Day 4 is longer, around 5 to 6 hours via Thrissur and Palakkad, and more on busy days. Days 2 and 3 have short drives between temples.
Temples are open all year, but crowds change the trip. Vaikathashtami (November to December) and the Guruvayur festival weeks bring big queues and full hotels, which is good if you want the festivals and bad if you want quick darshan. July to August has heavy rain on the Kochi to Kottayam roads. For a calm trip, aim for January to March or September and October outside the festival days. Festival dates change every year, so ask us for the dates in the year you travel.
The vehicle is part of the package price. We match it to your group, and you can ask for a different one.

This package starts from ₹13,800 per person. Your quote depends on dates, hotel choice, room count and vehicle. A family of four fits an Innova or Innova Crysta. Groups of 12 to 17 fit a Tempo Traveller or Force Urbania, and temple associations of 20 or more can book a coach van or bus with one driver for all four days. WhatsApp +91 86101 62373 with your dates and headcount.
The Vaikom Shiva temple is one of the oldest in Kerala. According to Kerala Tourism's page on the temple, the Shiva Linga is believed to date from the Treta Yuga, and the temple has the only oval-shaped sreekovil (sanctum) in Kerala. Its 12-day Vaikathashtami festival falls in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam (November to December). Vaikom itself is a responsible tourism village with country boat rides and coir weaving if you have spare time.
Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple in Kottayam is famous for the Ezhara Ponnana, seven and a half elephants carved from jackfruit wood and covered in about 13 kg of gold. Devotees see them on the eighth night of the temple's ten-day festival. Chottanikkara, dedicated to the Mother Goddess, is within about 20 km of Kochi. Guruvayur's Sree Krishna Temple is about an hour from Thrissur.
Send your dates, number of devotees, any poojas you want to book and your pickup point. We reply with hotels and vehicle in writing. You can also browse Guruvayur trips, the Kottayam and Vembanad area, Kochi packages or a Palakkad day out.

Yes, if you tell us in advance. Kottayam is close to Vaikom, so we can switch the Day 3 order or move your Kochi night to Vaikom. Temple timings change, so we check them for your date.
Kerala temples usually expect traditional dress. Men often remove shirts inside, and some temples restrict entry for non-Hindus. Rules differ by temple, so check before you travel and we will remind you the day before.
Yes. You can add Kaduthuruthy, drop Kalpathy, or spend two nights in Guruvayur. Tell us before we confirm the quote, as extra nights or kilometres change the price.
It depends on group size: sedans, Ertiga, Innova, Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross, Tempo Travellers, Force Urbania, a 21 seater coach van, or 24 to 50 seater buses. The quote names the vehicle.
A 30% advance confirms your trip, and the balance date is in your written quote. Cancel 15 days or more before the trip and we refund the full advance. From 14 to 3 days before, we refund half the advance. Within 2 days of the trip, the advance is not refunded.
If you have only three days and want a waterfall stop, choose the Guruvayur and Athirapally family trip. For temples across Tamil Nadu and Kerala in one go, see our 10-day South India temples tour. For a shorter Guruvayur visit, try Guruvayur and Thrissur in 2 days. In the pilgrim season, our Sabarimala 3-day trip covers the Ayyappa temple. On the Palakkad stretch, a Palakkad heritage day or Nelliyampathy in 3 days adds the fort or the hills. For a lake and garden day out, there is a Malampuzha day trip.
