This Karnataka 12 days tour package is a private 11-night road trip from Coimbatore. You stay two nights each in Mysore, Coorg, Chikmagalur, Hampi and Gokarna, and one in Bangalore, so most days have only one long drive. One quote covers the AC vehicle and driver, fuel, tolls, parking, driver charges and hotels. The price is ₹48,000 to ₹96,000 per person.

It suits families, retired couples and anyone who wants to see the whole state in one go. We plan it from our office at Ganapathy, Coimbatore, and one of our own drivers stays with you for all 12 days.
Day 1 is the drive from Coimbatore, about 200 km. Day 2 covers the palace, which the Mysuru district page lists as open 10 am to 5:30 pm and lit up on Sundays and public holidays, and Chamundi Hill.
Day 3 is the drive to Madikeri. Day 4 is for Coorg sights: we suggest Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat and the Golden Temple at Bylakuppe, and you choose the final list with us. Your driver may change the order on the day to beat crowds or weather.
Day 5 takes you into coffee country. On Day 6 you go up Mullayanagiri, which the Chikkamagaluru district page names as the highest peak in Karnataka at 1,930 m. The last stretch is on foot up steps. Jhari Falls is reached by a jeep track through estates. Some forest roads allow only local vehicles; if that applies on your date, we explain how that stretch works in your quote.
Day 7 is a long drive north to Hampi. Day 8 is for the ruins: the Virupaksha temple, the Vittala temple and its stone chariot, the royal centre and sunset on Hemakuta Hill. Karnataka Tourism notes the UNESCO listing dates from 1986.
Day 9 crosses to the coast. On Day 10 you see the Gokarna beaches in the morning and then drive about 78 km south to Murudeshwar for the Shiva statue and the 20-storey gopura, as listed on Karnataka Tourism's Murudeshwara page. Back to Gokarna for the night.
The longest day of the trip. Expect most of it on the road.
A short morning in Bangalore (our three-day Bangalore city trip covers the city in more depth), for example Lalbagh, Bangalore Palace and a photo stop outside the Karnataka Vidhana Soudha, then about 365 km home. Your driver may change the order on the day to beat traffic.
Everything is by road in one vehicle. Days 7, 9 and 11 are the long transfers; on the others you spend more time at the sights than in the car. If two weeks by road is too much, we can shorten the trip, and every trip ends back in Coimbatore. Your written quote states exactly what is included. The Karnataka vehicle permit and entry tax are included in the price; any extra kilometres are confirmed in the quote.
The trip moves through four landscapes. South Karnataka gives you Mysore's palace town and the Coorg hills. Chikmagalur adds coffee estates and the state's highest peak. Hampi is a ruined Vijayanagara capital in boulder country. Gokarna and Murudeshwar bring you to the Arabian Sea. Bangalore is a short final stop to break the drive home.
October to February works for every stop on the route. Karnataka Tourism gives October to March for Hampi and October to February for Gokarna. Avoid April and May for Hampi, which gets very hot, and June to September for Gokarna, when the sea is rough.
The vehicle is part of the package price. We match it to your group, and you can ask for a different one.

Mullayanagiri in Chikmagalur, at 1,930 m, and yes: Day 6 takes you up. The road goes most of the way and the last part is a climb on steps.
No. It is a road trip with short walks: the Mullayanagiri steps, Hampi's rocky paths and the Gokarna beach trail if you want it. For proper trekking in Karnataka, ask us about adding days in Chikmagalur.
Yes. The most common change is dropping the Bangalore night and driving home from Gokarna, or swapping Gokarna for more time in Hampi. Every change affects the hotel nights, so ask before you confirm.
It works for couples who like road trips, but it is long. Among our honeymoon packages in Karnataka, the Coorg honeymoon retreat is slower and shorter.
A 30% advance confirms your trip, and the balance date is in your written quote. Cancel 15 days or more before the trip and we refund the full advance. From 14 to 3 days before, we refund half the advance. Within 2 days of the trip, the advance is not refunded.
With 8 days, the Karnataka heritage and hills tour covers Mysore, Coorg and Chikmagalur. For Hampi alone, see the Hampi Badami tour. For a shorter Hampi break, try the Hampi 3-day heritage trip. To add Kerala and Tamil Nadu, look at the 15-day South India tour.
